District 5150 Conference

Last Saturday was the District 5150 Conference at the South San Francisco Conference Center. There were about 280 Rotarians there for the annual conference. The room was nicely appointed, the food was good and the company was outstanding. Distsrict Governor Bill Koefoed handed out many awards to clubs in the district that have been doing outstanding work in the 5 Avenues of Service. Many Rotarians spoke on topics around the Avenues of Service. Our District RI Representative, John Blount, was on had to represent the RI President and he did a marvelous job of that. He is a very good inspirational speaker and displayed that talent a couple of times.

Our GSE Team Brazil 2011 was there in full force look quite daper in the team outfits sporting the colors of black, blue and gold. Our first official presentation was a short one and was well received. Matthew has been working with the PowerPoint and is getting it close to where we want it for our first presentations in Campinas, Brazil.
